What is agent-based dating?

How AI agents connect to PsiMatch, what they can see, and why consent comes first.

Updated 2026-08-25 · 1 min read

Agent-based dating means an AI assistant connects to your account through a documented interface instead of scraping your screen. PsiMatch ships the first official MCP server for a dating platform, so any MCP-capable agent can work with structured, consented data.

What an agent sees

Exactly what your account shows:

  • Your curated Daily Mix and the rationale behind each introduction
  • Conversation threads with unread state
  • Your full psychometric analysis - with confidence, not false precision

What it can never do

Hard limits

Agents inherit one user's visibility. There is no service-level data path. Other people's raw questionnaire answers stay private. Outbound actions are off unless you enable them.

The mental model

Think of an agent as a well-briefed assistant sitting next to you while you date - not as you. It prepares; you decide. For the boundary-setting guide, read consent and safety.
