MCP overview and quickstart

Connect Claude Desktop or any MCP client to PsiMatch in two minutes.

Updated 2026-08-25 · 1 min read

PsiMatch's MCP server (services/mcp in the repo) speaks both stdio (local clients) and streamable HTTP (remote agents).

Quickstart (stdio)

{ "mcpServers": { "psymatch": { "command": "npm", "args": ["run", "--silent", "mcp:dev"], "cwd": "/path/to/repo", "env": { "PSYMATCH_GRAPHQL_ENDPOINT": "https://psymatch-api-preview-622909446227.us-central1.run.app/query", "PSYMATCH_AUTH_TOKEN": "<firebase-id-token>" } } } }

Where the token comes from

Your Firebase ID token - the same credential your browser session uses. Sign out to revoke. Tokens are short-lived by design.

Sending requires opt-in

Action tools exist but refuse unless the session sets PSYMATCH_AGENT_ALLOW_SEND=true.

Browse every capability in the tool reference.
