Safety and reporting

Block, mute, report - and what happens after you do.

Updated 2026-08-25 · 1 min read

Every chat thread carries safety actions: block, mute, and report. Blocking is immediate and bilateral - messaging stops both ways.

What happens to a report

  1. It lands in the moderation queue with context preserved.
  2. Moderators can restrict discovery visibility or ban accounts.
  3. Serious reports can trigger review of linked device fingerprints.

Dating-safety basics worth repeating

  • Keep conversations in-app until consistency is established
  • First meetings in public places
  • Reasonable privacy boundaries early are healthy, not rude

If anything feels off, report first and unmatch later - reports preserve context better than unmatched ghosts.
